What do you think of poems?

one says, 'poems are more expressive, and 'proses are more descriptive'

I think, poems are the deepest explanatory gained from expressive considerations. Since all are not unattached from expressing something, in its diversities of style, poems come to me as the unlimited biography of descriptive journey. motives follows the realities and discourses, and vise versa.

What do you think of poems?

poem

comrade wahmuji,
poem for me is, in sense, a form of art creating language as a comfortable vehicle to be honest with our life...we can play our child game, or in the same time we can develop our wildest imagination...that's a poem....
playing as fun as we can, travelling to time as far as we can, killing whoever we want in a deep honesty of us...

a quote somewhere

i once read a quote somewhere in one of personal weblogs. it says: life is prose; living a life is poetry. hmmm..

for me poems are much more than just a word game. somehow, i still think that poetry is something supernatural, something consisting of body and spirit. poetry is "alive". it doesn't matter for me how (un)skillfully a poem is written, as long as it emanates its "supernatureal powers", it is a strong poem.

poems? it might be

poems? it might be complicated to understand. but what wahmuji said, is quite true... it is more expressive... but it is the deepest expression people can express... sometimes, we can make a prose from a poetry. That's what I think... afro

poem scores again

O dear O dear...

like a baby born in this universe, we are already in it!
poem is scandalous like merely the accepting lack of our identity...
it is popular even before it is marked by your name and appears sparkly right to your dear and undear friends' eyes... Shocked
it is political since the very beginning you dare enough to believe
you create one

O dear...

This is a word I can hardly think.....muah...... Cool

it is

poem is the implicit form of the explicit...
for me, it does not have to be compact, concise, brief, short, etc. as long as it is implicit Puzzled

Inter-penetration of the opposites

For god sake, poems are useless "wordy" arrangement of dictions carrying useful contents. they are both objective and subjective, good and bad, open and closed, unveiling and classifying, social and individual, communist and liberal, linguistic and literary, remedy and illness, stabbing and embracing, comerade and foe.

For god sake, poems are us.

whatever

poem is contemplation or reflection, hope and desperation, surface or deepest expression of ourselves, (or even) beyond ourselves.....
poem is whatever things that you feel
